What we do

  • Co-ordinators

    Being the “middle person” between director and young person, relaying information and keeping everyone up to date.

    Liaising with parents/ chaperones / key crew members about timings and managing any situation that may arise calmly and efficiently.

  • Advocates

    Advocating for the young person/people at all times.

    Ensuring their comfort, safety and wellbeing throughout the shoot.

    Being a cheerleader, a friendly face that they feel comfortable with.

  • Coaches

    Warming up young talent vocally, mentally and physically.

    Running lines and coaching for any character work if needed.

    Being aware of the tone needed on set or in the upcoming scene: Do they need to be focussed or energised?

As specialists with 20+ years of mentoring and coaching children and teenagers, at Set Ready Kids we focus on creating a supportive, safe, and creative environment for all.

We work to make the on-set experience enjoyable and efficient, ensuring young performers are confident and prepared, while also fostering smooth communication between the director, crew, and talent.

We aim to collaborate on set with warmth, confidence and open-ness/flexibility.

By helping young performers grow both personally and professionally, Set Ready Kids contributes to an overall positive and productive environment.

Who We Work With

  • Children

    To maintain focus, cheerlead, motivate and get the best performance.

  • Teenagers

    More of a mentor role, supporting them with how to be professional on set.

  • Babies & Toddlers

    Playing and keeping them entertained throughout the shoot.
